New management at Green Lodge Care Home

Green Lodge, an Orchard Care Home providing specialist residential, dementia residential and short-term respite care in Billingham, Teesside is under new management.

Mandy Cooper takes up the role of Home Manager and brings with her 30 years of experience in the care sector. Starting as a care worker, she quickly realised that it was her vocation and jumped at the opportunity to join Orchard Care Homes in 2020 as she felt that her values strongly matched those embraced at Green Lodge.

She commented: “I’m enjoying every minute here, being able to provide people with the best quality of care in their final years’ makes the long days and hard work all worthwhile. The smile that I see when I walk in melts my heart and I really couldn’t think of a more rewarding job.”

The home is rated as ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care, following an inspection and assessment across five categories – safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness and leadership.
