Registered physiotherapists looking for a fresh challenge for 2020, will be interested in a new vacancy at LOROS Hospice for a physiotherapist to join their multi-disciplinary team supporting terminally ill patients across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland at the Hospice and in patients’ own homes.
The role involves working within the Inpatient, Day Therapy and Out-Patient areas, providing specialist physiotherapeutic assessment and intervention alongside LOROS’ Multi-Disciplinary Team. The successful recruit will be joining the team at an exciting time as the physio team have recently moved into a fantastic new area designed to support patient rehabilitation.
The hospice offers a wide range of activities and services for patients including acupuncture, scar and tissue relief for patients that have significant scarring after surgery, exercise prescription and holistic assessments in Help with Breathlessness clinics.
LOROS can offer fantastic training and career opportunities including multiple specialist courses. The Hospice is also growing. Day Therapy is expanding and there will be a new rehabilitation suite, in addition to the new LOROS Professional Development Centre.
