The UK’s first ever organic and brightening toothpaste has been launched by organic and natural dental UK company Organically Epic.
The COSMOS Brightening Antioxidant Toothpaste is now available via the Organically Epic website, alongside other dental hygiene products including dental floss, interdental brushes and toothbrushes including manual and electric.
The toothpaste has spent three and a half years in development and has been created in conjunction with dentists to ensure it offers optimum dental health whilst being organic, natural and sustainable. It’s the first of its kind in the UK and has been certified vegan by the Vegan Society, certified as cruelty free by Cruelty Free International and also certified Organic with the Soil Association to internationally recognised COSMOS standard.
Retailing at £14.95, the 75g tube is specifically targeted to freshen breath, lift stains, and brighten teeth whilst also soothing and nourishing the teeth and gums.
All ingredients are either natural or certified organic, with the ingredients containing a super high organic content of 46%, as well as 99.6% has natural origins. To brighten teeth and remove stubborn stains, it contains a gentle combination of papaya enzyme, papain, and activated charcoal. The toothpaste also combines the essential oils of peppermint and tea tree with their powerful antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. In addition, the coconut oil ingredients are effective in pulling bacteria from the mouth that can cause gingivitis and halitosis whilst the aloe vera leaf juice powder will soothe and heal sore gums and teeth.
Every part of the product creation process has remained as climate positive as possible, and focused on being as sustainable as possible. It features FSC Certified carton packaging, and Upcycled, carbon neutral sugar cane tube packaging.
