Liverpool-based Global Wellness and Empowerment Coach to Join Nike Women Ambassador & Beyonce Dance to Empower at Global Charity Event

A global wellness and empowerment coach from Liverpool is excited to be taking to the stage to share her own health and wellbeing journey and her tips and everyday tricks to help others ‘find the calm in the chaos’ of the world around us, as part of a fundraising event focused on inspiring and empowering women opening up ‘challenging conversations that need to be had’.

Sharing her strategies for leading a tranquil life and finding time to create calm amongst the chaos, Laura Rowe, age 38 believes that “if we don’t make time for wellness we will have to make time for our illness” – having herself battled cancer and ongoing mental health struggles she has lived experience of this, which sits alongside her professional knowledge which she now shares as part of her mission to divert others from a burnout path, which she believes can be so easily avoided.

Laura will join global motivational speaker and award winning business leader of I Am The Queen Bee Movement (#IATQB) Dani Wallace, who is hosting the event, alongside 20 other entrepreneurial women, and some very special guests, which include Body Inclusivity Champion and Dancer, Trina Nicole who’s performed alongside Nao, Lizzo and Beyonce and has just been announced as Nike Women’s latest Ambassador, championing diversity to bring about positive representation, as part of her commitment to amplifying marginalised voices. She has also fronted campaigns for leading brands including Gap, Clarks and
most recently British Vogue and is best known for founding the UK’s first plus size dance class; The Curve Catwalk which has seen her recognised as Young Entrepreneur of the year 2021 by Great British Entrepreneur Awards and selected as One to Watch by Forbes.

On sharing the stage with her Laura Rowe, 38, from Liverpool said: “This is a very surreal moment for me. I made a commitment to myself earlier this year to share my knowledge and story in a way that can have a positive impact on others – as my business is very purpose fuelled being a part of Bee Inspired felt like the perfect fit as this event is all about empowerment, community, facing difficult conversations head on, and making a difference collectively. I have previously attended the event …..however if you’d have told me a
year ago I would be standing on the stage in the company of someone like Trina Nicole sharing my thoughts to empower others I wouldn’t have believed you. I am so excited about this!”

Laura, from Liverpool is a Global Empowerment and Wellness Coach. As an ex-NHS theatre practitioner, a health science specialist, and a trauma and cancer survivor, Laura is on a mission to help people rediscover who they are at their core, to see how truly powerful they are, and to gain emotional freedom by living intentionally, and finding calm in the chaos of life. After struggling for years with anxiety, depression and eventually cancer, Laura learnt the hard way that if we don’t make time for our wellness, we will be forced to make time for our illness.

Said Laura; “I am passionate about creating a society with less burnout, anxiety & stress, so we can be a nation more focused on health, wealth & happiness. Unfortunately I had to learn the hard way. I came through the trauma of cancer and I’m so very grateful to be healthy and live another day. It was a huge journey and I came through it with a determination to be devoted to my own wellness and teach others how to do the same. Most of us live in a “flight or fight” state every day. We’ve been through a pandemic which has meant that the stresses and pressures of daily life have only increased. Add to that
the fear that comes with the unknown and constant change and the world is now facing a mental health pandemic. I believe this session will introduce participants to an alternative way of living and give them some everyday tools to practise calm. It’s time to thrive, not just survive.”

Using science backed holistic modalities such as meditation, breathwork, yoga, ayurveda, and mindset practices, Laura is here to help more of us embrace better health without it feeling like a chore and as part of her talk she will share some practical exercises as well as guiding the audience into a meditation.

Being on this stage is her next commitment to further spreading her message, sharing her knowledge and increasing her impact in her bid to help women lead impactful lives overflowing from a devotion to their own physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

Bee Inspired organiser Dani Wallace said: “I am so so excited to see Laura take to the stage – her message is so powerful and I’m delighted she has decided to step up and share it. Public speaking fear (glossophobia) still sees the majority of people shy away from spreading their message in this way so Laura is in a very small minority of people being brave enough to make an impact in this way – we need to get behind her with our support!”.
